Three Wonderful Ladies

Yesterday was the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event at Digital Scrapbook Place.com. I was not intending to attend, since you had to purchase a ticket, and I am trying not to make any scrapbooking-related purchases, but to rely on "freebies" to support my habit! However, on Friday night, I joined in DSP's Bingo Game and Chat, and during the chat, a drawing was held to win a donated ticket to the BCA Event. Well, guess whose name was drawn! The Event was a series of chats with scrapbook challenges and lots of freebies!

The first chat and challenge was to do a layout about "If tomorrow never comes." Well, I frequently think about how lucky I have been to have 3 sets of parents rather than 2! This is the layout I created to celebrate "My 3 Moms".

Here is the journaling: "I have been so blessed to have these three women in my life. Sharon -
my mom. She is an inspiration to me. As we grew up, she provided a
clean, comfortable home, nourishing meal, and all the love and sup-
port a mother can give. As I watch her get older, I can only imagine
the pain her scoliosis is giving her. I pray for relief and comfort for
her, but even more so I pray that I can give my children everything
she gave to me. Eva - my step-mom. Eva inspires me with her
devotion to my dad, something I now strive for in my own marriage.
She is a wonderful cook, and has always been there for me. She is my
second mom. Kathy - my mother-in-law. Kathy has been a great
example to me of complete devotion in her life to our Lord Jesus
Christ. She is my third mom."

What Scrapbook Product Are You?

http://quizilla.com/users/Prismcat/quizzes/What%20scrapbooking%20item%20are%20you?/

I took the quiz, and these are the results I received:

You are PAPER!

You are an all natural basic person who likes to act as a foundation to others. You are willing to take a backseat in most of your relationships and let others take the spotlight, while you show your support and help them shine! Underneath it all, you are the one who makes it all happen. You are the focus and stability in any group, even if you are not the leader. Others look to you to set the pace and provide ideas for ways to get things done. But Paper Beware - sometimes you get a little edgy with the people who look to you for support and can give them some papercut remarks that can hurt their feelings. Remember to watch what you say, because you are best when leading by example.

What do you think? Is this me?
